Defibrillators

Every Australian school should have access to a defibrillator (or AED: automated external defibrillator), either on-site or nearby, for rapid emergency response. 

Australia records approximately 32,000 out-of-hospital cardiac arrests annually: 25 times our annual road toll. Without a defibrillator the survival rate drops by 10% per minute.
